- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, and eye protection.
- Maintain awareness of workplace hazards, such as sparks, fumes, and hot surfaces, and take necessary precautions.
- Comply with local, national, and company welding standards and regulations.
- Work closely with other team members, such as fabricators, engineers, and supervisors, to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Communicate any issues related to material defects, equipment malfunctions, or project timelines to the supervisor.
- Assist with other fabrication or metal work tasks as needed, such as cutting or bending metal.
