Job Description

  • The Pantry Executive is responsible for managing the pantry operations, ensuring timely and efficient preparation of beverages and light snacks, maintaining cleanliness, and organizing the pantry area. This role involves providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all pantry-related tasks meet hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages (tea, coffee, juice) and light snacks (sandwiches, finger foods) for staff and guests.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of refreshments to meeting rooms and other areas as required.
  • Manage pantry inventory, ensuring all items are adequately stocked and replenished when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area, including counters, appliances, and storage.
  • Ensure that all kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery are cleaned and stored properly.
  • Adhere to food safety standards, including proper handling and storage of food items.
  • Monitor pantry supplies such as tea, coffee, sugar, snacks, and other consumables.
  • Place orders or inform the appropriate department for replenishment of pantry stock when necessary.
  • Keep track of equipment like coffee machines, refrigerators, and microwaves to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to staff, guests, and visitors.
  • Respond to special requests for beverages or snacks during meetings, events, or conferences.
  • Ensure high standards of service and quality control for all refreshments.
  • Follow all safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and hygiene.
  • Ensure that pantry equipment is used safely and properly maintained.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Assist in setting up and serving refreshments for meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Help with cleaning up after events, ensuring all pantry items are properly stored or disposed of.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required.
  • 3 years graduation degree or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or hospitality environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
