Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing protocols.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Document and report changes in patient conditions to the appropriate healthcare providers.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare team members, and family members to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-care instructions.
• Advocate for patient rights and ensure their needs and preferences are considered in the care plan.
• Address and resolve patient concerns or issues related to their care or treatment.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including cardiac arrest, trauma, or other acute conditions.
• Perform life-saving procedures and provide first aid or advanced care as required.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe environment.
• Follow guidelines for the handling, storage, and disposal of medications and medical supplies.
• Stay current with advancements in nursing practices, medical technology, and healthcare regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training, certification programs, and professional development opportunities.
• Assist in the management of nursing supplies and equipment.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adherence to healthcare standards and policies.

SKills & Experience 

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Strong clinical and technical skills relevant to the nursing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Compassionate patient care and attention to detail.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid [State/Country] Nursing License (e.g., RN, LPN, NP) and BLS/CPR certification required. Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) may be required or preferred based on the position.
