Job Description

  • The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, including managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining store appearance and inventory. This role involves leading a team, implementing store policies, and driving sales performance to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and motivate store employees to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Create work schedules, assign tasks, and manage staff coverage to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and assistance by addressing their needs and resolving any issues or complaints.
  • Train staff on customer service best practices and monitor their interactions with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
  • Monitor and manage store inventory, including stock levels, merchandising, and product placement.
  • Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Drive sales performance by implementing promotional activities, upselling, and cross-selling products.
  • Analyze sales data and store performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Assist in achieving sales targets and store goals through effective management and strategic planning.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and manage stock discrepancies to ensure accuracy and minimize loss.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely stock replenishment and order management.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including store policies and procedures.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and address any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of store transactions, staff schedules, and other operational reports.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, employee documentation, and reporting to the Store Manager.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with regular customers and address their specific needs.
  • Implement customer loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
