The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, including managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining store appearance and inventory. This role involves leading a team, implementing store policies, and driving sales performance to meet company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and motivate store employees to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
Create work schedules, assign tasks, and manage staff coverage to ensure smooth store operations.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and assistance by addressing their needs and resolving any issues or complaints.
Train staff on customer service best practices and monitor their interactions with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
Monitor and manage store inventory, including stock levels, merchandising, and product placement.
Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Drive sales performance by implementing promotional activities, upselling, and cross-selling products.
Analyze sales data and store performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans.
Assist in achieving sales targets and store goals through effective management and strategic planning.
Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
Conduct regular inventory counts and manage stock discrepancies to ensure accuracy and minimize loss.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely stock replenishment and order management.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including store policies and procedures.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and address any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of store transactions, staff schedules, and other operational reports.
Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, employee documentation, and reporting to the Store Manager.
Build and maintain positive relationships with regular customers and address their specific needs.
Implement customer loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience required.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Proficiency in retail management software and POS systems.
