Job Description

The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The role requires expertise in plumbing techniques, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Plumber ensures that all plumbing work is completed in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements.
  • Ensure that all installations meet local plumbing codes and standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures.
  • Perform repairs on pipes, fittings, valves, and other plumbing components.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and components to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper functioning using various tools and techniques.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients to understand their plumbing needs and concerns.
  • Offer professional advice on plumbing solutions and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, and standards for plumbing work.
  • Handle plumbing tools, equipment, and materials safely and responsibly.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform plumbing tasks.
